The new therapy is working quite well for me. I mentioned before that this therapy utilizes the balancing of food energies. Certain foods have hot and cold energies. It also stresses eating order. Such as eating fruits/ veggies first, then eating carbs, followed by proteins. This eating style is designed to assist digestion. It seems to be helping somewhat. I have been doing this for 3-4 days now we will see in the long run what happens. I dont get too excited anymore about therapies, ive struggled with all of them. Regardless, I must continue to try to heal the body. Even though I get stressed sometimes I try and focus on the big picture and overall i am doing alot of good things for the body. I want results and I want them now. This mentality is ok, but patience and time are necessary. I try to remember that I am gaining valuable experience conducting all these therapies.
Big holiday here in Thailand today. It is called Asarnha Buddha day. Tomorrow is the beginning of Buddhist Lent. Lots of activities going on in the village.
Here is a photo I took while driving on the expressway here. It is very beautiful and peaceful here.
I still cant believe the effect that the full moon has on my every month. Its like a scheduled mental breakdown penciled in every few days before the actual full moon. My emotions turn into mush like that of a 5 year old child. Physically it seems my body symptoms flair up to accompany this mental madness. As usual after the onset of the full moon, it seems there is a big emotional release and calmness.
Just received another order of good organic veggies. The fridge has been restocked.
I am trying a slightly different approach to my therapy beginning tomorrow. Hopefully it can bring some promising results. It involves balancing food energies into hot and cold categories. Kind of like yin and yang balance. Balancing the body leads to maximum healing potential. Due to confidence issues, I am not too excited in ANY therapy at this point.
Here is a pumpkin plant that is growing in my garden. This is one single plant. It is kind of hard to see from the picture. See how green and how large this plant this? This plant was fertilized by my urine. THATS RIGHT! My urine is very high in nutrients and nitrogen now from my superb diet and juice diet! Why not share the love? The pumpkin tastes great by the way. 100 percent Natural Organic !!!!!!!
The weight is starting to climb. Still never ending sluggish digestive system. Colon is still not functioning. Im still experimenting with some natural laxatives including the coconut oil, cascara bark, and senna leaf. It seems I can only manage diarrhea or constipation. No middle ground. Still doing the water and milk kefir. The water kefir bacteria culture is growing out of control now. Finally got the hang of growing it. Im still waiting on some milk kefir to arrive in the mail.
Still having horrible sweating bouts every time I eat. I have to eat very little at a time. Im trying a new different type of Chinese therapy this week. It involves only organic fruits and vegetable and concentrates on the yin and yang of foods. Meaning some foods are hot and some are cold for your body. Its a balancing system to calibrate your body to allow it to heal itself. Another therapy another try. My confidence has dwindled somewhat but overall I must continue on my journey.
Well its certainly been an unique high energy filled July. A pretty good month compared to the last couple. I am still continuing to gain more energy and strength since the fast. It has been 45 days since my 30 day fast. My digestion still presents many issues to overcome. I have had diarrhea now for the past 10 days straight. I guess its better than being constipated. Im still trying to balance the substances I put into my body. Certainly stress has its unique role as well.
The kefir projects are still going well. My water kefir is growing very quickly now! The milk kefir is going a little bit more slowly. I ordered some additional culture from ebay. The culture i ordered was originally grown in raw goats milk. It should arrive in a couple days. I have been drinking about 3 cups of kefir daily. Still looking to replace the good bacteria in my gut. I have a bit of throat infection now. I think the kefir is helping and wheat grass. I think it is a yeast infection therefore the probiotic should be beneficial. I am doing much better than yesterday. Still getting a lot of sweats- during the day, during the night…. I have to change my t-shirt at least 2-3 times over the course of the day and night. All I can think is that hopefully I am ridding of more unwanted substances.
School is coming along well. i will finish within a month. I am already registered for 12 credits for next semester as well. The fall semester begins September 10th i believe. For this fall semester I have registered for two sociology courses and a food science course.
Exercise program is coming along well. Still progressing on the abs and back. Still getting out and riding the bike a little bit as well. This small amount of exercise has really helped me. Three weeks ago I could barely get out of bed. Now I am able to navigate myself around quite well. I hate the defenseless weak feeling. Poor weak health is a horrible vulnerable feeling. A low sense of self worth accompanies those feelings. The return of energy and a little strength is comforting.
Finally got my video for the composting project. You will see two parts to this video. One section of the video covers the red worms compost project, and the other is the traditional pile compost method.
Red worm compost-
is a mixture of organic sheep/ goat dung
organic topsoil
vegetable / fruit waste
here is a little history and facts about red worm composting
-Worm composting (also known as vermicomposting) involves the breakdown of organic wastes via the joint action of worms and microorganisms (although there are often other critters that lend a hand)
-Worms can only take small particles in their small mouths. Microorganisms soften the food before worms will eat it. Worms have a muscular gizzard. Small parts of food mixed with some grinding material such as sand, topsoil or limestone is ingested. The contractions from the muscles in the gizzard compress those particles against each other, mix it with fluid, and grind it to smaller pieces.
What happens to food once it leaves the gizzard?
-The ground up food is mixed with enzymes in the worm’s intestine. This mixture breaks down the food, molecules pass through the intestine wall into the bloodstream for use where needed. Undigested material, including sand soil, bacterial and plant residues passes out of the worm as a worm casting.
-Composting worms are specialized surface dwellers (not burrowers), typically living in very rich organic matter such as manure, compost heaps or leaf litter
-It is widely believed that a composting worm can process the equivalent of it’s own weight in waste each day. Under highly optimum conditions (not likely to be attained with a small home system) red worms have been found to process multiple times their own weight! This is very much dependent on the food stock and how well managed the system is.
-Red worms technically graze on the microbial community that colonizes waste materials – not really the waste itself (although they certainly ingest some of the rotting waste in the process). Some research has indicated that protozoans are the primary food source, while there is also evidence that fungi and other microbes are consumed as well.
In this video you will see the results of the red worm compost mix after 5 days
In this video you will see the traditional pile composting method
Guano (from the Quechua ‘wanu’, via Spanish) is the excrement (feces and urine) of seabirds, bats, and seals.[1] Guano manure is an effective fertilizer and gunpowder ingredient due to its high levels of phosphorus and nitrogen and also its lack of odor. Superphosphate made from guano is used for aerial topdressing. Soil that is deficient in organic matter can be made more productive by addition of this manure.
Back on today again…. Nice breakthrough today. I live right next to a giant cave in Northern Thailand. Of course this cave is full of bats. The more research I read about Bat dung the better. The local village people brought me over 10 full bags of it today! I placed this excrement onto some of my composting piles and will also use for worm composting! bats eat insects and produce excellent organic fertilizer in the process! The more organic fertilizer / compost I can prepare now the better!
Bat guano can be safely used as a fertilizer, both indoors and outdoors, and will benefit all growth of all plants.
Its primary ingredients are roughly 10% nitrogen(plants’ healthy green color and their rapid growth), 3% phosphorous(promotes root growth and flowering), and 1% potassium(strong stems). Slow release fertilizers that continues to work for the soil and plant.
Rich in bioremediation microbes, which clean up toxic substances.
When used as a foliar spray will help combat fungus.
Cycle of bat dung(guano) is:
1. bat eats insects
2. bats deposit dung on cave floor
3. ate again by beetles and microbes
4. results are a natural fertilizer
Different ways guano can be used are:
1. improves the richness and texture of soil
2. the bioremediation microbes clean up toxic spills on the soil
3. with a NPK of 10-3-1 it is a suitable fertilizer
4. placed on the lawn will bring about excellent growth and healthy appearance.
5. foliar feeding kills fungus
6. controls harmful nematodes in the soil.
7. excellent compost pile activator.
Im sure everyone has missed my video updates…. well im starting to feel better, so Im gonna bring the footage back! I will post another video for my composting project, and my red worm composting project soon! Im back in the game again! it feels good to be alive! The positiveness has returned! It was the hardest summer of my life (summer is over here in Thailand) but its over now.
I am slowly back on my mountain bike and doing some small exercising on the ab chair for back and abs.

Hello everyone! Steven is back and alive in the JUNGLE in Thailand. This time I am speaking English with some instructions on making water kefir. KICK ASS! The probiotics are an excellent bacteria to add to the digestive tract. In these modern days of ridiculous amounts of antibacterial drugs, this may be the only defense! My doctors gave me antibiotics for years and almost killed me. The purpose of the probiotic is to replenish these bacteria back into the gut! Without these healthy bacteria we dont stand a chance at our health with all this modern day bullshit sickness and disease! Remember, that disease harbors itself in a weak or unhealthy digestive system!
Dont buy probiotic from any corporate manufacturer! The pills are not effective. Neither are any processed yogurt claiming they have probiotic. Grow it yourself organically and make sure you get the 100 percent benefits! you want something done right in this world, do it yourself.
These days even our honey bees are dying off because of antibiotics. Their digestive systems are deteriorating from them as well! Take your life back and restore your digestive system with daily water kefir!
can you believe we are medicating honey bees? where the fuck did we go wrong?
you cant just keep screwing mother nature….. cant do it
Finally have some photos from the red worm composting project. I mentioned b4… we have the concrete bins made. By the red worms by the Kg, and mix them in the soil. We mix organic goat dung, regular soil, and all the vegetable and fruit compost. These worms will make this into castings within a few days. Excellent way to may quick wonderful compost. More photos and updates to come.
We keep a lid on the basin in order to keep it moist. Its amazing what these worms can do- I cant wait ttill try this new fertilizer!
Pic 1 - your classic composting red wormPic 2- here are the worms directly from the coolerPic 3 - We order the worms from mae jo university where they make organic compostPic 4 - We use the concrete basins they usually use for water reservoirs here in ThailandPic 5- mixing all items into concret basin Pic 6 - adding leftover pressed vegetable waste from norwalk Juicer
Got a nice thai massage this morning. I always feel better after the massage. The lady there has a unique way to massaging the stomach and intestines that seems to help me.
I ordered some new natural laxatives on ebay and they are finally arriving. I got an interesting Chinese herb named Turkey Rhubarb. I took the recommended dosage and didnt feel very much. I woke up this morning and noticed i had defecated all over my bed! Well that one works…. a little too well… once again, the science experiment continues. Therefore I am a little queasy today.
