Sunday, August 15th, 2010Organic Composting In Thailand Video - day 464 Vermicomposting
Friday, July 9th, 2010Finally got my video for the composting project. You will see two parts to this video. One section of the video covers the red worms compost project, and the other is the traditional pile compost method.
Red worm compost-
is a mixture of organic sheep/ goat dung
organic topsoil
vegetable / fruit waste
here is a little history and facts about red worm composting
-Worm composting (also known as vermicomposting) involves the breakdown of organic wastes via the joint action of worms and microorganisms (although there are often other critters that lend a hand)
-Worms can only take small particles in their small mouths. Microorganisms soften the food before worms will eat it. Worms have a muscular gizzard. Small parts of food mixed with some grinding material such as sand, topsoil or limestone is ingested. The contractions from the muscles in the gizzard compress those particles against each other, mix it with fluid, and grind it to smaller pieces.

What happens to food once it leaves the gizzard?
-The ground up food is mixed with enzymes in the worm’s intestine. This mixture breaks down the food, molecules pass through the intestine wall into the bloodstream for use where needed. Undigested material, including sand soil, bacterial and plant residues passes out of the worm as a worm casting.
-Composting worms are specialized surface dwellers (not burrowers), typically living in very rich organic matter such as manure, compost heaps or leaf litter
-It is widely believed that a composting worm can process the equivalent of it’s own weight in waste each day. Under highly optimum conditions (not likely to be attained with a small home system) red worms have been found to process multiple times their own weight! This is very much dependent on the food stock and how well managed the system is.
-Red worms technically graze on the microbial community that colonizes waste materials – not really the waste itself (although they certainly ingest some of the rotting waste in the process). Some research has indicated that protozoans are the primary food source, while there is also evidence that fungi and other microbes are consumed as well.
In this video you will see the results of the red worm compost mix after 5 days
In this video you will see the traditional pile composting method
BAT GUANO (DUNG) organic fertilizer
Friday, July 9th, 2010
Guano (from the Quechua ‘wanu’, via Spanish) is the excrement (feces and urine) of seabirds, bats, and seals.[1] Guano manure is an effective fertilizer and gunpowder ingredient due to its high levels of phosphorus and nitrogen and also its lack of odor. Superphosphate made from guano is used for aerial topdressing. Soil that is deficient in organic matter can be made more productive by addition of this manure.
Back on today again…. Nice breakthrough today. I live right next to a giant cave in Northern Thailand. Of course this cave is full of bats. The more research I read about Bat dung the better. The local village people brought me over 10 full bags of it today! I placed this excrement onto some of my composting piles and will also use for worm composting! bats eat insects and produce excellent organic fertilizer in the process! The more organic fertilizer / compost I can prepare now the better!
Bat guano can be safely used as a fertilizer, both indoors and outdoors, and will benefit all growth of all plants.
Its primary ingredients are roughly 10% nitrogen(plants’ healthy green color and their rapid growth), 3% phosphorous(promotes root growth and flowering), and 1% potassium(strong stems). Slow release fertilizers that continues to work for the soil and plant.
Rich in bioremediation microbes, which clean up toxic substances.
When used as a foliar spray will help combat fungus.
Cycle of bat dung(guano) is:
1. bat eats insects
2. bats deposit dung on cave floor
3. ate again by beetles and microbes
4. results are a natural fertilizer
Different ways guano can be used are:
1. improves the richness and texture of soil
2. the bioremediation microbes clean up toxic spills on the soil
3. with a NPK of 10-3-1 it is a suitable fertilizer
4. placed on the lawn will bring about excellent growth and healthy appearance.
5. foliar feeding kills fungus
6. controls harmful nematodes in the soil.
7. excellent compost pile activator.
Video UPDATE- How to make Water Kefir Probiotic
Thursday, July 8th, 2010Im sure everyone has missed my video updates…. well im starting to feel better, so Im gonna bring the footage back! I will post another video for my composting project, and my red worm composting project soon! Im back in the game again! it feels good to be alive! The positiveness has returned! It was the hardest summer of my life (summer is over here in Thailand) but its over now.
I am slowly back on my mountain bike and doing some small exercising on the ab chair for back and abs.
———————————————–
Hello everyone! Steven is back and alive in the JUNGLE in Thailand. This time I am speaking English with some instructions on making water kefir. KICK ASS! The probiotics are an excellent bacteria to add to the digestive tract. In these modern days of ridiculous amounts of antibacterial drugs, this may be the only defense! My doctors gave me antibiotics for years and almost killed me. The purpose of the probiotic is to replenish these bacteria back into the gut! Without these healthy bacteria we dont stand a chance at our health with all this modern day bullshit sickness and disease! Remember, that disease harbors itself in a weak or unhealthy digestive system!
Dont buy probiotic from any corporate manufacturer! The pills are not effective. Neither are any processed yogurt claiming they have probiotic. Grow it yourself organically and make sure you get the 100 percent benefits! you want something done right in this world, do it yourself.
These days even our honey bees are dying off because of antibiotics. Their digestive systems are deteriorating from them as well! Take your life back and restore your digestive system with daily water kefir!
can you believe we are medicating honey bees? where the fuck did we go wrong?
you cant just keep screwing mother nature….. cant do it
Red worm composting
Tuesday, July 6th, 2010Finally have some photos from the red worm composting project. I mentioned b4… we have the concrete bins made. By the red worms by the Kg, and mix them in the soil. We mix organic goat dung, regular soil, and all the vegetable and fruit compost. These worms will make this into castings within a few days. Excellent way to may quick wonderful compost. More photos and updates to come.
We keep a lid on the basin in order to keep it moist. Its amazing what these worms can do- I cant wait ttill try this new fertilizer!
Pic 1 - your classic composting red worm
Pic 2- here are the worms directly from the cooler
Pic 3 - We order the worms from mae jo university where they make organic compost
Pic 4 - We use the concrete basins they usually use for water reservoirs here in Thailand
Pic 5- mixing all items into concret basin
Pic 6 - adding leftover pressed vegetable waste from norwalk Juicer

you remember that question when you were a kid….. if you were sick and dying, would you ________?
drink your own piss?
well, I am sick and dying…… hmmm lett me think about it ….. fuck it, pour me a warm glass please!
the new show rolls on. Yes life is a stage, and now my bumbling, toddering show rambles on, no doubt. Im focused and somewhat positive heading in this time around. Anytime youre not eating solid food, drinking your own urine, going to school, drinking three day old fermented carrot juice, wheat grass/ urine enemas, and deliberately stinging yourself with honeybees 25 X daily….. my party sucks…. No questions about this one. Dont bother coming to this party, no RSVP needed! hhahahah who could possibly accept invitation to this one? a swift kick to the groin sounds more appealing… Im not complaining just shedding light on the situation. One day soon I will look back on this point of my life and get a decent chuckle. Hopefully I will be writing my book by then and kicking ass with some oriental broads somewhere in the orient!
I feel like this fast isnt getting the best of me this time around. Last time around this point it started to become overwhelming. I think this time, Im just getting started. I am simply motivated now by just how sick I am. If I start to eat now, I will not digest. Therefore my plan is to heal my digestion and body now. There is no other option.
still doing 13 juices a day, coffee/ urine/ kefir/ and wheat grass enemas.
I wish I was dead!
Honey Bee update!
Sunday, April 25th, 2010Here are my new honey bees at the house! They are doing fine so far! Here they are buzzing around about 4:30 pm after a slight rainstorm. Very active in returning from the bush with pollen and nectar! Im excited! I have been doing the bee venom therapy for almost one week already! more updates to come!

It has certainly been one of the most difficult months of my life. It seems to be the time of the year for change…. I have dealth with many problems at the farm and with my health. I have never been more confident in my entire life that these issues can be overcome. The big picture, the vision, and the goal is the CURE FOR CANCER. I will stop at nothing till this achieved.
I am currently looking at purchasing some land in northern Thailand and having a mud house built.
I have hired some new people that will bring new postive energy to my staff here. I think giving up is an option for some people, but not for me. I will push forward and get what i want in this life now.
