Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Granpas Organic Farm dot com in Chiang Dao, Thailand. I think that of all your choices in Thailand Chiang Dao has to be one of the most beautiful places here.
We do need help now for we grow EVERYTHING year around here.
I keep the juice machine running around the clock. I am trained and certified in the GERSON treatment for cancers and severe disease program. www.gerson.org We have lots of building projects this coming up month, and much farming help needed. You will have either a shared bedroom or I do have another private bedrooms available if needed. Brand new spring mattress and bedding, and plenty of wondeful fresh organic food and juice from our farm. We are able to suit just about any diet here. Myself I am vegetarian, but we have some meat eaters as well.
I will be able to pick you up from the bus station in Chiang Dao. I have a pick up truck for your belongings.
Some examples of work needed will be….
1. Help finishing the community center
2. Work on the farm…. includes planting, organization, making fertilizer, weeding, etc.
3. Some other stuff includes organization at my home…. Creating planting charts, schedules, packing seed containers.
Dont worry about experience, we are willing to help! I think you will like the staff and find the atmosphere pleasant.
Working schedule is flexible….. if you want a couple days off a week….. thats fine, there are lots of fun things to do here. Its not like the marines here….. Although I do expect hard work during the work day. The staff is helpful with any other issues.
I do have internet here, and welcome the use of laptops here. It is a little slow but it works.
warm showers, a full time maid / cook/ carrot juice maker, clean towels, sheets. Heat in your room is available upon your request. I have new comfortable single spring mattresses. hope you are prepared to eat HEALTHY.
Currently I am doing the juice detox myself. (320 days already) Therefore I am little weak, but still VERY able to accomodate. My mind is strong. My partner in the foundation speaks fluent english, is a wonderful person, and is willing to be your driver as well.
The only request I ask about staying at my place, is that you will respect my home, and all the wonderful people who are involved in this project. You WILL recieve respectful behavior from us. Please take a brief moment to complete these questions.

I have all fresh foods here and will be provided to you, but i do not buy processed foods. Anything processed you can purcahse and bring yourself.
Materials you should bring? Whatever you need… sunscreen, mosquito spray if you want (mosquitos arnt too bad here) I suggest some bathroom wipes or hand towels.
Thats about it.
Dont worry about immunizations or crazy viruses. I have never had any issues here and dont listen to billion dollar drug companies who try to scare people.
work schedule- wake up 600 am- breakfast at 6:30 am
work at farm 7:30am -12pm
lunch 12pm-1 1pm
work 1pm- 4pm or 5pm
finish for day - one or two days off permitted per 7 day working time at farm
